Meet The Team
Leadership Isn't an Age. It's a Commitment.
Seen & Heard's team is intergenerational by design. Youth board members and adult staff share governance authority, make decisions together, and are accountable to the same mission.
Amy S. Levner
CEO and Executive Director
Amy Levner leads social good organizations through intense periods of growth, change, and impact. Specializing in goal clarity and making strong connections with the right partners at the right time, Amy ensures greater impact for the greater good.
Amy currently serves as CEO of Seen & Heard Action Network, an ambitious nonprofit working to prioritize kids at all levels of government by ensuring young people have a leadership role in policy change. In addition to managing a non-profit consulting practice, Amy was most recently Vice President at KABOOM!, the national non-profit dedicated to ending playspace inequity.
Previously Amy led the Livable Communities agenda for AARP where she was responsible for AARP’s work on issues related to ensuring older adults can age successfully where they live. She is an active volunteer and community connector, a (very) beginner ceramicist, and most delights in going on adventures with her husband and teenage daughter - from traveling far and wide, to short trips to the couch for movie nights.
